Lori Henry Endorses Mayor Jere Wood
On Monday night, November 9th, Councilwoman Lori Henry, who received 27% of the vote on November 3rd, asked her supporters to vote for Mayor Jere Wood on December 1st in the runoff election. As grounds for her supporting Jere Wood, Lori cited common ground on numerous elements of their respective platforms.
Both Lori and Jere want to:
– Make Roswell safer for our families.
– Encourage redevelopment.
– Carefully budget expenditures to ensure that Roswell can continue to offer a high level of service without raising taxes.
– Work with our other state legislators to overturn unreasonable state regulations that require lake owners to rebuild dams that have proven to be safe at a cost of millions of dollars to our citizens.
In closing Lori said that Mayor Jere Wood is the only person still in the race who is a leader, a person of integrity, and who has the time to be Mayor, which is approaching a full-time job.
