Election Countdown: Three Weeks To Go!

To win this election, we need to:

1. Get out the vote Tuesday, December 1st runoff election, and

2. Win over Lori Henry’s supporters.

Lori Henry’s endorsement Monday night will go a long way to help.

I am asking everyone who is supporting me to do three simple things:

1. Send an e-mail to your friends and neighbors beginning, “I am voting to re-elect Jere Wood in the runoff election on December 1st because ...”. Then on November 30th, remind everyone to vote. Please copy me and attach your photo and I will post your endorsement and photo to my web site. If you would like to add your endorsement to my web site now, please click here to complete the form and upload your photo.

2. Put a "Jere Wood for Mayor" sign in your yard. If you want a sign, please click here to complete the yard sign request, or pick up a yard sign from the breezeway of my law office at 1173 Canton Street.

3. Vote Tuesday, December 1st.

LAST WEEK

A runoff is overtime in politics, and the pace of this race has picked up. On Friday night I sat with the band at the Roswell High School v. Lassiter football game. Roswell fought hard but lost. Roswell High will be in the state playoffs. Saturday I attended the Fulton County Republican Party meeting in the morning, took Lori Henry to lunch at Rhea’s Takeout, and campaigned at Woodstock Road soccer fields and Sweet Apple Village. Sunday I met with our campaign strategy team to develop a message for the remainder of this campaign. Monday Lori Henry and I held a press conference announcing Lori’s endorsement of my campaign, followed by a council meeting with birds flying around City Hall chambers.

Vote December 1st.

It’s All Good!
