Stay Positive and Have Fun.
We are in the lead, but the race is not over. To win you need to have 50% +1. There will be a runoff on Tuesday, December 1st. Vote at the same place you voted in the general election. You can vote in the runoff even if you did not vote in the general election.

Thank you for voting and for encouraging your neighbors and friends to vote. Democracy only works if citizens are involved, and the more that are involved, the better a democracy works. Twenty percent of Roswell’s registered voters turned out, substantially higher than the fourteen percent average in the past. Of 25 Roswell precincts reporting, I won 17, including Horseshoe Bend east of GA 400. David won only four precincts, all east of GA 400. Attached is a detailed breakdown. PAST EVENTS
On Sunday we made over 2,000 calls to Roswell voters, and on Monday we made even more. Tuesday we had over 100 guests join us at my law office on Canton Street to follow the election returns. We began with an early lead, we fell behind when East Roswell votes were counted, then finished strong. When the last vote was counted, we led with a comfortable lead, 40% to 31%. Wednesday morning I got to my law office before daybreak to rejoin the race. I congratulated Lori Henry on a well-run campaign. At noon I cut a ribbon for a new business in the Historic District, Roswell Towne Realty, and filmed an interview with Tom Regan, Channel 2 News.
Please forward this to your friends and neighbors and ask them to sign up to receive our weekly Issues Newsletters.
It’s all good!
Jere Wood, Mayor of Roswell
