The Choice is Yours November 3rd
This Tuesday, November 3rd, you have the opportunity to choose who will lead Roswell for the next four years.
You may choose to re-elect Jere Wood, the candidate who has served as your mayor for the last 12 years. During this time I’ve reduced your City property millage rate by 17%. I’ve earned a AAA credit rating and built up $26 million in reserves for our City. I’ve led the City in acquiring over 600 acres of parkland, triple the amount available when I was elected mayor.
Or, you may choose between two inexperienced candidates. One consistently chooses not to take any position until his colleagues have reached a consensus. The other consistently opposes all new ideas.
When you elected me, I promised to make Roswell the best place to live in Georgia. In 2007 we were recognized as in the "Top 3 Places in America to Raise a Family".
With your help, we can make Roswell an even better place for you and your family by:
- Building new streets to improve mobility.
- Improving intersections to reduce congestion.
- Encouraging redevelopment of blighted parts of our city.
- Helping local businesses weather the economic storm.
- Making Roswell safer for our families.
