Stay Positive and Have Fun.
Word of mouth is the best form of campaigning - talk to your friends about our campaign. Pick up signs and campaign literature at my office, or e-mail us at mayorwood@mayorwood.com and we will deliver.

You are invited on a twilight cruise Saturday, October 10th, down the Chattahoochee River on the Spirit of Roswell paddlewheel boat to raise money for our campaign. We will begin boarding at 6:15 p.m. from Azalea Park, cast off at 7:00 p.m., and return around 9:15 p.m.
The boat will carry only 60 passengers, so R.S.V.P. if you are coming by e-mail to mayorwood@mayorwood.com.
The Mayor’s Ball and BBQ Contest will be returning to Hog Heaven Saturday, Oct. 17th, at 6:00 pm. Roswell’s best BBQ restaurants will be competing with my team and the Fire Department to decide who serves the Best BBQ in Roswell. For tickets go to Star House’s website at www.starhousefoundation.org, and click on the star to purchase tickets via Pay Pal, or e-mail me at mayorwood@mayorwood.com. LAST WEEK
The campaign pace is picking up. On Tuesday, 30 guests attended the Mayor’s Arts Forum and discussed how we can better promote arts and culture in our city.
On Wednesday I met with the Groveway Community to discuss redevelopment and crime prevention.
Thursday I opened the new greenhouse at Crossroads School and met with PEARLS and the director of the Fulton County Libraries to discuss the new East Roswell Library.
On Friday I had dinner at the Roswell High Taste Fest and a second dinner at the Grove Way Community banquet.
On Saturday, I attended seven events: the over-40 bike ride, the Roswell Historical Society Flea Market, the Ginny Jog, the Centennial H.S. Band yard sale, the RAMBO Mtn. Bike Festival, Carolina Creek Ribbon Cutting, and the Riverside Concert, and stopped by a touch football game and a soccer game meeting.
On Sunday we had a great time at the Horseshoe Bend Fall Festival.
At Monday’s work session, the council gave a green light to move forward with public hearings on the proposed road and bridge over GA 400 between Old Alabama and Old Roswell Roads.
Please forward to friends and neighbors.
Its All Good!
