Stay Positive and Have Fun.
UPCOMING EVENTS
This week I am broadcasting by e-mail a statement on City spending showing that the City’s budget is balanced, projected revenues exceed budgeted operating expenses, and the City has ample rainy day funds to cover contingencies. Please forward this statement to friends and anyone who has questions about city taxes and spending.
New “Bow Tie” yard signs are in. If your yard sign didn’t survive the deluge or you don’t have one yet, we have plenty more. We also have campaign literature and stickers to give your friends and neighbors. Pick up signs and campaign literature at my office, or e-mail us at mayorwood@mayorwood.com and we will deliver.

LAST WEEK
We survived the most rain and flooding I can remember in my 60 years in Roswell with no dam failures, no serious personal injury, and relatively little property damage.
On Tuesday, 30 people attended the Mayors Forum on Art and Culture. For summary of forum, go to http://www.mayorwood.com/wordpress/index.php
On Wednesday we held our second volunteer meeting. For minutes of meeting, go to www.mayorwood.com/campaignupdates.
Talk to your friends about our campaign; word of mouth is the best form of campaigning.
